Product Description
The 97105 series from IMI Norgren is an indirect solenoid actuated spool valve, available in 3/2, 5/2 and 5/3 way functions, offered in both Inline and NAMUR interface configurations, with G-thread or NPT port sizes in 1/4" and 1/2".
Materials
Body materials: Aluminium anodized (suitable for high humidity, sulphuric, sodium, chloride or ammonia environments), brass 2.0401, and stainless steel 1.4404 (316L). Seals: NBR or HNBR.
NBR: -40 … +65°C (-40 … +149°F). HNBR: -25 … +80°C (-13 … +176°F). The catalog states this is depending on solenoid system. Air supply must be dry enough to avoid ice formation at temperatures below +2°C (35°F). For outdoor installations all connections must be protected against the penetration of moisture and a solenoid with IP66 protection must be used.
Approvals
Approval according to DIN EN 161, DIN 3394 and IEC 61508, multichannel up to SIL 3.
